About Us Since open to the public in 2003, Buff Salvage has been helping to clean up Hamilton County. It is locally owned and operated in Ooltewah, Tennessee. Our primary operation includes the purchasing & selling of scrap metal from the public as well as businesses & organizations. Other services include warehouse industrial demolition & clean-up, container services for scrap metal, and hauling, but ultimately preserving the earth, by recycling. There are many positive aspects associated with the scrap metal business than one might think. Recycling metals lowers the amount of materials going to landfills, a service paid for by taxpayers. Instead our company will pay you. We offer help to our customers and to the environment. We purchase all types of scrap metal daily. Prices vary according to the American Metal Market, local market and demand. Buff Salvage is a proud supporter of its community. Different organizations look to us for donations, as we often lend our support. We've sponsored local youth sports teams as well as local churches and charities. In the past we've collaborated with other companies to come up with money for certain causes. At times we have donated a percentage of proceeds made from scrap metal we purchase, such as a can drive for St. Jude in May 2009.
